Kāne’ohe is a new eco-luxury designer and manufacturer in booth 1828N in Boutique Section, just north of the Swim Fashion Show Stage. This debut company luxurious is launching its line at Surf Expo and is showcasing its product from an equally luxurious – and sustainably grown – bamboo exhibit space.

Building their company philosophy around the belief that the natural beauty of the Hawaiian Islands is as irreplaceable as it is inspiring, Kāne’ohe founders Bryan and Kyle Harris sought to develop a brand that would embody island beauty, luxury, and environmental responsibility.

“Bamboo is an amazing resource,” said Bryan Harris. “As a fabric, it’s extremely soft with a sheen comparable to cashmere or silk. It’s unbelievably comfortable. Environmentally speaking, bamboo is a renewable resource that thrives without pesticides or fertilizers – and the fabric is biodegradable.”

Kāne’ohe clothing is a blend of bamboo fiber and organic cotton. The result?
